Literature counts as literature. If it's not in the literature section, it's not literature.

SFF, Western, Romance, Horror, Mystery, etc... if it's not labelled Literature, it's not literature. Yeah, I know, it's confusing. But that's the way the industry does it and how many of the readers who look down on "genre" books view it.

American Dirt is literature... The Duke & I (Bridgerton 1) isn't.
