I'm half way through 6 right now, and I'd say it was on par with 4 (which I really liked). 5 was better, but that was because I preferred the US setting. (Couldn't play New Dawn, the first mission where you find Timber gave me nightmares)

I can see where the comment 'more of the same' fits. It's like each new generation of Call of Duty or Battlefield. If you like one, generally you'll like them all. The mechanics don't change much, just the location.

If you end up liking 6, OP, I'd definitely recommend 4 and 5.
