ARYT.

Same here. The things I got into fandom for I'm still into fandom-wise, maybe a little more sporadically for some depending on how old they are, but I can't say this happens for even 3% of the things I watch. I love watching new media, I'll watch a bunch of shows and movies in a year and really enjoy them! But it's not likely that I'll want to consume fandom content for those shows/movies in that year because most of what I watch doesn't inspire fandom-interest for me bar maybe retweeting some art on twitter and I personally don't consider that to count me as being in a fandom.

Exactly. I consume a ton of media but for the vast majority of it my fandom interaction never goes beyond retweeting some art and maybe reading a couple of fics at the most.

Meanwhile, I'm still into some actual fandoms I got into more than ten years ago, but that's the exception rather than the rule because it isn't often that I get deep enough into a fandom to want to engage with it on a regular basis. Most stuff is just "this thing was cool, I enjoyed it" and I don't really have any deeper feelings about it than that.
