It’s a hilariously small dream in the grand scale of things, but one of my biggest dreams is to be part of a fandom I adore (I don’t care the size)… and then write the fan fiction everyone in the fandom swoons over and recommends to their friends/fellow fans.

B/S: I’ve been working on a fic for a burgeoning fandom for over a year now… and I’m hoping when I finish and post it I can make my dream come true.

It definitely depends on your fandom, but I would say that some of those "everyone swoons/recommends" fics aren't well-written as much as they're strategically marketed (i.e. feature the right tropes and get boosted via the right social media). So I do wish you the best, but also, I hope you don't take "failure" as a mark against your fic and skills.
