I haven't seen any of these shows but I still want to +1 the "Humans are not that interesting" bit. I fully get that, it's part of why I don't get people rolepaying human characters on DND or picking those races in MMORPG. The speculative aspect of beings other than human is one of the best parts of any type of fantasy to me.

Why would anyone want to see more shows about humans in Sci-Fi or Fantasy? If you want human drama, turn onto the news or just look out a window. Give me aliens and elves any day of the week (just not the grimdark ones).
