and Jenny, and the subversive MST3K type humor that was personified by Penn and Teller (who I still think are funny, I just don't like their politics) and the general feel of the first season and the rest of the show was like the difference between Lou Reed and the spice girls.

I thought that once they added Willard Kraft the show actually had a sharper poison tongue to it. I don't see what Penn and Teller added to it, they were barely in it. I'll agree on Jenny being better than Valerie though, I don't know the rationale behind that one.
