Not that it helps (because we all know the fandom has always been fucktarded), but the Turks have always been ridiculously popular with the fangirls... so we can't blame AC for this one.

True, but I don't have anything against people liking the Turks? I like the Turks.

I just don't get the point of people liking a fictional character who killed thousands of people and was a giant sleezeball, yet thinking that they're just a loveable goofball who wouldn't hurt a fly. There's no reason to love a character without knowing anything about them.
