Nah, there's a difference between "here's a neat thing you'll enjoy" and "hey, let me randomly burden you with an audience or some other responsibility/change you didn't ask for." That's not being a killjoy. It's actually being considerate of the other person. Sure, if the person actually hints at liking those other things, it might be okay. And even then, better be sure they want that!
