Re: Parents, question.

Yeah, I probably should have invested in genetic testing and aborted my child because of the family history of IBS, but y'know it just didn't occur to me at the time for some reason.
Jackass.

No need for abortion. You could have used brith control or vasectomy/ligation. But, yeah, you really ought to have sprung for a health check of yourself and your partner to make sure there were no major health factors you could pass onto an innocent kid, like IBS.

But none of what AYRT has specified they actually have(IBS) is enough to choose not to have a child, much less get a vasectomy. How about you don’t die on this hill? Especially because the child has already been born, and it’s bad form for some stranger to say that shouldn’t have happened. Instead of merely saying maybe rethink having another kid if the circumstances are bad.

I know you mean well, but don’t jump the gun into the least charitable assumption you could make based on extremely little information. “Gut problems” could mean so many things, which vary in severity, with some being very manageable. So you are a jackass, just a well-meaning one.

There's not a whole lot of well meaning about this troll.

What a dumb, unhelpful comment.

IBS isn't a major health issue,. It can be severe but for a large portion of people it's a mild inconvenience. You are a jackass and an awful human being.

Yeah, eugenics is really a reasonable response to a condition that can apparently be managed by eating leafy greens on a regular basis.
