I'm not sold on any ship for that (I do like the OT3 but it's not a make-or-break thing for me) but I did like these two together much more than I liked Sophie/Nate. And in general I like Sophie a lot more without Nate.

Eliot/the marshal kind of weirded me out too. I liked her as a character but I'm put off by anything that feels pro-cop. But I'm willing to see where it goes.

The second half of the season is out! I had some quibbles but I mostly liked it.

I see Eliot as a big brother figure to both Hardison and Parker, and let me tell you, the first time I ventured into fandom I was shook. Sophie's at her best on her own but some friends with benefits situation with Harry could be fun.

Definitely agreed on Eliot's relationship with Hardison and Parker. As far as Sophie romances/fwb situations go, though, I still ship her with Tara more than anyone else, whether as a loving couple or friends who have sex sometimes.

I loved this season, but yes, the whole OT3 thing was a BAD look. He's fluent enough if fandom to know what baiting is, and friendly enough with fandom that they trusted him not to bait. Most of the anger I think comes from people being a) mad he betrayed that trust and b) fear he baited intentionally.

That being said, I think I get what he meant that statement to mean, and I hope it's a lesson in phrasing things better.
