(Anonymous) 2009-03-05 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)What if you were a writer with tons of fans, having at least more than 60 comments per day, would you have the patience to respond to them?
I know a few people on deviantart who *do* respond to almost all their comments, even if she/he has at least 1,000+ comments within the week, and that's okay. She wants to, she probably has the time.
But if you expect a writer, or an artist to reply to every 'WOW, NICE JOB!' he/she gets, then that makes *you* the rudest asshole of all time.
Then again, I doubt the author or the artist will have anything to miss if people like you don't comment. It's probably useless shit anyway.
