I was reading earlier that Nintendo tends to drop their updates between 8pm-10pm the day before the release date, so keep an eye on the store in about 24 hours.

And yes, I too have been counting the hours. My farming plots are ready, I just moved some things around to get rid of the neon karaoke nightclub that was right next to it because having K.K. Disco blasting kind of cut into the rustic atmosphere I was going for right there... XD

I completely rebooted my island and am at 4 star ahaha

but I also need to get my farm up and running for the new crop items so thanks for reminding me. sounds like tonight and tomorrow's task

*thumbs up* I love my island too much and have put too much time into it (not to mention all the custom designs) to reboot, though it is kind of a tempting thought now that I know what the limitations of terraforming are and the dimensions of some items I really like. :P But eh. The things I can't work into my own island, maybe I'll work into someone's vacation home somewhere. :D But I kind of envy everyone who had the nerve to start fresh, admittedly.

...I'd swear there was something else I was going to do in preparation when I got back on tonight (left my gates open all day because there are a couple people who like to come by) and now I am totally blanking on it. Already left a ukelele on the pier for my boy Kapp'n... OH RIGHT. I was going to put some kind of stereo playing Marine Song 2001 there too. (I really love Kapp'n and his ridiculous shanties.)

Oh hey anon? A FB friend just tipped me off, the update is available NOW.

She's freaking out over some of the new Nook Miles stuff and taking pics of her TV with her phone so I know it's serious, hahaha.

Got my Switch docked and downloading, allegedly it's going to take 20 minutes because I just had set it up to pre-load the Happy Home DLC before I found out. -_-

I almost envy you, I should be getting to bed because I have to work in the morning. -_- On the bright side, only half a day left in my work week so I'll be free to be a complete idiot with this stuff all tomorrow. XD
