TBH I haven't read a lot of fics outside of DinCobb, but I dont see why the slave culture *would* be homogenous in any way. Its not like one species in particular was enslaved on tattooine--it was just all different sorts. And slavery takes all different forms on the planet, from the Empire, to just regular joe owning slaves, to corporations owning them.

So yes OP it doesnt make sense to be homogonized.
