Someone in the comments of the Lindsay Ellis video of Love Never Dies mentioned that it's ALW self-insert fic after his divorce and yeah that tracks. That actually makes the show more watchable to me.

b!S: I desperately want the two men and a half men with Raoul and Phantom ending Lindsay joked about.

Heh I already made this secret, pretty much, but with way more ragging on ALW and having never watched that video or even really knowing who Ellis is.

My take was basically "good on Sarah Brightman for dodging a (luckily metaphorical) bullet, and ffs ALW you're a rich bastard, you can afford ALL THE THERAPY, but you had to be a creep instead."

It wasn’t my only take away from her video, because I loved the whole thing, but it was my absolute favorite part!
