Also, I feel like some people (looking at AYRT for sure) don't realize how incredibly efficient chopsticks can be for people who are fully habituated to them.

they're even used in cooking itself and I discovered by trying it that for some foods, it's actually much better than a spoon or a spatula! you can delicately turn things, swish them gently in water or broth, and keep things from breaking apart while stirring or turning.

Plus, they're mostly not metal and therefore good for use with non-stick pots and pans
