Yeah, the whole 'these women are witches' and 'women are weak' and 'women are manipulative' and blah blah that goes on even in just Dune is teeth-grating.

Yes, I was pleased that there was way less of it in the movie. Jessica/the Bene Gesserit were referred to as witches a couple of times but it wasn't so constant or pejorative.

Same. Her character was weirdly emotional (to me), compared to the book, but it wasn't nearly as weird about women as the book(s) is/are.
