I've seen the hair thing too! People writing Dean with blond hair and describing it as yellow or golden automatically takes me out of any fic I'm reading. I've also seen people write Dean as really skinny and boney and I'm just wondering if they skipped over all those episodes where he was shirtless.

Those are usually the same writers who refer to him as short, which makes me think they’re getting their descriptions from other fanfic and don’t necessarily pay attention to the show itself.

Hazel eyes are choose your own adventure and eye color in general can be pretty dependent on lighting. As long as they're not, like, anime green I'm willing to give that one a pass. YMMV, obviously.
