I feel you!
One of my fandoms is written by people in their late 20s/30s.
Most of the main characters are of the same age. And some even older. Fandom for a long time was perfectly adult. And then we had a lot of new fans and especially a lot of young fans. It's still not overrun by them and more age-balanced. But my gods the Gen z mob sure is something. Not only cringe but harmless things like ID fics, but also harrasment towards fans and creators.
