Was it really bad?

I mean, I loved it un-ironically. Sincerely even. But it's been going down hill for a long while. On the plot front the whole game is supposed to be about discovering and solving this crisis that is causing magic stuff to appear before muggles (hence why we'd ''capture'' memorable wizard things like they were pokemon) but the story really didn't move after the first six months. Features were added and then just forgotten about. Challenges were left impossible to complete (infamously one was casting 20 different spells while only 14 existed). And the bugs. Oh the bugs. Users could send gifts to each other but 1/3 of them caused your game to crash when it opened. Stuff like that.

I can't really say if it was BAD because my phone wouldn't run it well enough for me to cast spells without taking several tries, because it sucked up so much memory that it would freeze up and not sense me tracing the spell line, but think my finger jumped halfway across the screen.

I tried to find a way around that problem other than "buy a new expensive phone" for a couple weeks, but it was so frustrating and such a memory hog that I uninstalled it.

So although I can't say if it was "bad" or not, it set a fairly high bar for technical requirements. Couldn't play it on a low-end or old phone like Pokemon Go, so there goes part of the potential userbase. Other people I know with better phones enjoyed it for a few months then they said it got repetitive.
