I was able to buy an Xbox One X! Had to get Walmart+ for a month, but worth it since I got my first bonus at work in over two years.

I've always wondered what fandom lovers turned authors had fanfic accounts. Like I still wonder if Stacey Abrams has fanfic floating around out there.

Back to the topic, it's probably wise to orphan or delete fic if you aspire going pro no matter what.

I'm having mild symptoms after my Covid-19 booster shot, so I had to stay home from work.
Judging from the last time I got a shot, I think I'll be better soon.

My brother cooked dinner tonight, so I have little reason to complain.

Well, yesterday my work day finished with my boss asking me to get in touch with someone and me basically going "omg I cannot deal today is this something I can do tomorrow?" because I was pretty sure one of my buns was not going to survive the night AND I was in horrible pain myself. (My boss is cool, actually lives a couple blocks over and knows about my health problems, so I could actually be honest.)

Late last night... well, way gross TMI but the bun at least started improving, and today after finishing off the thing with the person my boss wanted me to talk to yesterday, I was out of work hours and I have been sitting on the floor hand-feeding my tiny little girl and just thrilled that she's eating solid food.

Also Agent S who was one of my first villagers in NH showed up on the Paradise Planning beach today so I just designed her a super cute superhero training lair, so things are much better on all fronts other than my dumb body.

I don't know what fandom this is about so I don't have much to say about the actual secret, and no matter what fandom I suppose my thoughts would pretty much be "meh, this is fandom, ship and let ship", but...

My anxiety has been acting up lately. I went to the doctor Monday for lower back pain and discovered I have a UTI so I'm taking meds for that, and we discussed my anxiety and she gave me a 7-day sample of Trintellix that I've been taking as well. So far its been a mixed bag (it's only been 4 days lol), but my back is feeling better and hopefully the UTI is clearing up (I had no idea I had one). I go back on Monday for a checkup, and if the anxiety meds don't make things worse I'll be getting a prescription for them and hopefully finding a shrink to talk to.

Well. Today has been fascinating and weird and great. So it turns out that everyone had been lied to by the woman who I thought was my mentor, the head of the immigration department at the firm. She told the big boss lies about me, stoked the paralegal's negativity, and lied to me about what everyone was saying and eventually why I was being let go. She told the big boss I was outright lying to clients. No client threatened to report me as she claimed.

So, it turns out that she was running her own firm on the side. She joined us only to steal clients and get more work during slower-than-usual pandemic times. Meanwhile, she was claiming clients that were the firms were hers and was working at her own virtual firm from home when she said she was working from home because her son was sick or she couldn't get daycare.

And most likely she thought I might figure it out so tried to get me fired?

Anyway, she's gone, I have my job back starting tomorrow, and I'm not going to trust anyone for a while.

I've been trying to shift my sleep cycle for the past few days in order to attend an all-nighter event tomorrow. All I am now is dead tired
