Absolutely wild how you jumped from "person who writes completely normal smut fic under a username concerned about possible fall-out after publishing original content under their real or pen name and people making the eventual connection" (examples of which are included further up the thread!) to "person who posts deliberately untagged porn for tiny children to see and publishing under the exact same name"

Like. You get there's a difference, right.

Unless they're using the same pen-name, how would anyone make a connection between a fic posted under a sock, but not make a connection for that same fic under an orphan account? The OP said nothing about deleting these fics, only about unlinking them from her main fanfiction account.

It's the internet. It happens. Even Cassandra Clare originally published fic under another username IIRC.

The example above, about Tamsyn Muir--she didn't use her actual name for Homestuck fic either.

She also wrote "Slave Bear of Care-A-Lot" for Yuletide (under yet a different name, but she has publicly acknowledged it on Tumblr), which absolutely does sexualize children's media - and it's a fucking hilarious masterpiece. I am so grateful to have that in the world.
