I'm writing a fic that is based in a fandom that's pretty much dead. I'm expecting most of its readership to be fans of the main kink and not familiar with the Canon.

I find myself with the dilemma of having to write more physical description than I otherwise would.

This is my question- what's the best way to build in physical descriptors to your characters? I seem to be hitting cheesy notes with it over and over again.

The thing is, at least where I live, most of the pearl clutching centers around "this show is brutal and bad and why doesn't anyone THINK OF THE CHILDREN when producing such evil filth" and not "pay some fucking attention what your damn children do/watch with the devices you let them have with zero supervision". Like, almost exclusively. They keep trying to find fault in the show and its subject matter and NOT in the irresponsibility of adults letting children watch this show unsupervised. That's what pisses me off about this.
