Re: Advice thread - Baby!

Ok so my niece is having her first baby in early December.

Any advice for what sort of commonly overlooked items to gift? I want to do something extra over the baby shower gifts I gave her but I want it to be more practical that they’ll need when they get home from the hospital so they aren’t stressing out.

For her baby shower I gifted the family diapers, a baby grooming kit and this adorable dragon that can attach to a pacifier (plus a few pacifiers) so it cannot roll away when dropped.

Anything and everything that is extra safe to chew. When that little cutie pie is teething, you will be grateful that they are not munching on your fingers.

Larger clothes (babies grow FAST). Books.

Seconding larger clothes for sure. Meals for the freezer. Somebody gifted us vouchers for a frozen meal company and it was the best present we got. Not having to cook from scratch to get a hot meal when you're painfully sleep deprived was honestly a godsend.
