They spent their childhoods being told they were the smartest ones in the room, think they got to where they are with those smarts, when it's family money+connections, and are under the deluded impression they know how to run a country as a result of that. UK politics is a joke man.

They are no doubt, but I found the Dr Who thing alarming.

The Peppa Pig speech was clearly meant as a distraction while the Health and Care bill got passed. ((Rage emoji)). Also seems to me that whoever is actually in control behind the scenes is done with BoJo and planning on ejecting him. He's certainly being built up as a scapegoat.

(If Dominic Cummings was still in No.10 I would assume it was him, but he's not so who the he'll is actually running this shitshow?)

A "petard" is a "small bomb used to blow in doors and breach walls" and comes from the French pétard, which, through Middle French (péter) and Old French (pet), ultimately comes from the Latin pedere ("to break wind") [15] or, much more commonly, the slang form "to fart." Although Shakespeare's audiences were probably not familiar with the origin of the word, the related French word "petarade" was in common use in English by the 17th century meaning "gun shot of farting" making it appear likely that the double-meaning was intended by the Bard as a joke.[16]

"Enginer", although the origin of the modern engineer, had the meaning specifically of a military engineer or a sapper: someone who works with military engines (mines, grenades, siege engines). The word should be pronounced with the stress on the first syllable.[17]

I assume the thinking is that Rey replaced Luke, but you can only really argue that in the sense that Rey is a Jedi and Luke died so she takes his place in-universe, but Luke as a character hasn't gone away.

They read the Doctor Who books, jesus christ at least learn the fandom before you get all triggered. Also they had wimpy John Major as PM and then pseudolefty Bliar, so clearly something went wrong in that era.
