*hugs*
I'm so sorry.

I wasn't quite so bad off, but I have Crohn's that went un-diagnosed for decades, leading to decades of pain, eating issues, come-and-go symptoms that were sometimes bad enough to put me to bed for days, and sometimes *just* bad enough to make everything a misery, but I could (and had to) still work, clean, get groceries, whatever.

Took emergency surgery after a two-week flare and me being thisfuckingclose to a ruptured intestine and sepsis to actually find out wtf was wrong with me.

And yeah - I'm pretty sure that toward the end, there, most people thought I was lying or exaggerating to 'get out' of things.

Thanks... I remember looking into Crohn's just because "hey this is a GI thing that's apparently becoming more commonly known? Maybe something that local doctors would know?" and thinking it sounded absolutely horrible, but not in the way I feel horrible. :/ I'm sorry you too had to go through that stupid runaround.

If my stupid country would just have decent medical care for everyone, i'd have had a diagnosis years ago. Meh.
