Oh gosh I feel all of this, except that I've only just gotten diagnosed in my early 30s. I sometimes wonder if I'd be better at handling other people face to face if I'd gotten a diagnosis and support in elementary school, but it's hard enough even now to get an autism diagnosis being female and daring to present symptoms in ways different than autistic boys do.
