Ayart
I play more RPGs than I read novels and humans are absolutely the "boring" option.

And, yeah? The stuff I've seen like a human making it 20 miles through a desert for help or lifting a car off their kid or pack bonding with the automated microscope in the spaceship lab or surviving from pole to pole at all altitudes or coping with the presence of bears. Sometimes it's an alien getting frustrated that humans eat some foods at high temperatures, sometimes at low temperatures, and some times at ambient temperatures and they just make no sense! Other times it's like what if all aliens life were plant based and humans were super small but fast and active when there's no light the *horror*.

But anyway, at it's most interesting it's all about remembering that "human" isnt "default" and wondering how we might be different than some alien's idea of "default".

Maybe I've missed whatever it is you didnt like. I dont care. What comes across my dash is fun.
