Favorite Sherlock/John fics

I started reading a Sherlock/John fic after not being in the fandom forever while looking for some Animal Transformation fics. I sort of want to read some more Sherlock/John fic. Any recs for your favs? Short or long, explicit or not. It is all fine.

I was never in the Sherlock fandom but these stories were just too good.

Everything by Chryse, but especially A River Without Banks (Epic post S3 w/ time travel of a sort), The Frost Is All Over (Epic Dickensian-esque AU), and Another Country (post S3).

The Paradox Series by Wordstrings is a fandom classic. I think it's phenomenal, and wholeheartedly rec it, but it does have a very particular take on the characters, so if you aren't vibing with it after the first couple installments it might not be your scene.

The Sensation Of Falling As You Just Hit Sleep by greywash (post Reichenbach Fall).

All of Bendingsignpost's fics, but especially the Watches 'Verse, which has a really odd, fantastically interesting premise and absolutely knocks it out of the park.

More Things Than Are Dreamt Of (series) by 1electricpirate (Harry Potter crossover).

I really loved everything by augustbird, but especially Glass, Tempered Steel which is both a/b/o and a fusion with Ragnarok (the online RPG). You don't have to know anything about Ragnarok to read it; I didn't.

Special shout-out to The Least Of All Possible Mistakes by rageprufrock, which is a genderswapped Lestrade fic, and is only secondarily about John and Sherlock, yet manages to be so insanely good that I couldn't stop reading, even though I hardly ever read fics where Johnlock wasn't the focus.
