Re: Favorite Sherlock/John fics
(Anonymous) 2021-12-04 06:57 am (UTC)(link)The Paradox Series by Wordstrings is a fandom classic. I think it's phenomenal, and wholeheartedly rec it, but it does have a very particular take on the characters, so if you aren't vibing with it after the first couple installments it might not be your scene.
The Sensation Of Falling As You Just Hit Sleep by greywash (post Reichenbach Fall).
All of Bendingsignpost's fics, but especially the Watches 'Verse, which has a really odd, fantastically interesting premise and absolutely knocks it out of the park.
More Things Than Are Dreamt Of (series) by 1electricpirate (Harry Potter crossover).
I really loved everything by augustbird, but especially Glass, Tempered Steel which is both a/b/o and a fusion with Ragnarok (the online RPG). You don't have to know anything about Ragnarok to read it; I didn't.
Special shout-out to The Least Of All Possible Mistakes by rageprufrock, which is a genderswapped Lestrade fic, and is only secondarily about John and Sherlock, yet manages to be so insanely good that I couldn't stop reading, even though I hardly ever read fics where Johnlock wasn't the focus.
This is just a few of the Johnlock fics I love.
