Oh definitely. Since I cosplay and have lots of friends who cosplay, I've seen them passing around FB albums that are photos taken at fantasy-themed weddings and so on, I think I've even seen some specific to LotR.

...It just occurred to me that if I did that I would have to ruin it by making whoever the ringbearer was dress up as Gollum and refuse to hand it over until the bride and groom fought him and took it from him.
