I remember feeling bad for the guy who got the fish-face man thingy, which I know now was meant to be Jekyll and Hyde. To my 12-13 year old self it was as though they went "uh...we're out of ideas so I guess...fish guy?" It always came across as the laziest costume to me.

Whereas, despite not really being a BSBs fan, I was all over the vampire costume because I was nothing but a "late 90s teenager flirting with Gothic imagery" cliche.

I thought that one was awesome! Jekyll & Hyde meets Creature from the Black Lagoon! I did find it so funny at the end, though, when they're all summarising their dreams, that we get 'werewolf', 'mummy' and 'dracula', and then the other two conveniently don't name their creatures because there's no shorthand for 'Eric from Phantom of the Opera' and 'Jekyll & Hyde/Black Lagoon mashup'.

Haha yeah you're right there because I suppose "I was this phantom..." is still basically going to mean Eric to most people or if not they'll be thinking "what does a phantom even look like?" if they didn't have the previous footage in the video as a reference.

In my early-mid teens I was all about Dracula/vampires so the Black Lagoon reference was probably lost on me. Looking back years later I can tell the costumes were pretty well done for a music video of the time.

LOL, yeah, Kevin's costume was kinda funky with the fish-face bit and all. But somehow he managed to pull it off and still looked good (Kevin was always my favorite of the group, though, so I'm biased :p).
