Tolkien's male elves are both beautiful and action heroes. Some of the ones that seem the most androgynous and that I really love are Finrod and Glorfindel.

I enjoy the Valdemar books, and Vanyel is a favorite character for me too.

There is like zero non-fanon reason to believe Glorfindel and Finrod were androgynous.

Elves in general are at least partially androgynous. Their physical beauty is emphasized, and not the type of looks typically considered attractive for men. The term androgynous is never used, no, but the way they are described is very much what we consider androgynous.
