Re: What songs get you really emotional?

The main theme to Legend of Mana is just about my favorite song ever and I can't sing along with it because it makes me tear up before I even get to the chorus and I can't even figure out why exactly other than that it's just so incredibly beautiful.

There are a fair number of songs that get me all wonky because of strong association with characters/stories I've written. (Vienna Teng's "Between", the Indigo Girls' "Blood and Fire", and Richard Shindell's "Fenario" are the worst in that regard. Listen to any of those and I have a character in my head who will not shut up until I write him something else to take his mind off it.)
