I get this, OP. When I'm at the worst of my depression I install the game, get the mods and play The Sims for 10 hours a day for days until my mind calms down. Then I just unistall it. And then the cycle begins again. My craving for The Sims is actually how I notice that my depression is getting worse. It's been like this for 20 years now!

What are your favorite titles in the franchise?
I love The Sims 2 and 3, but can't play 3 lately because my PC is too old.
