I didn't enjoy the story and ended up feeling so drained afterwards - but there were so many characters that I liked and should have gotten more time to develop instead of jumping from one story to the next.
I actually laugh when the Doctor's 'mother' was there and then gone within 5 minutes because what the hell was the point of that? and just this whole Wolverine of the X-men theme they got going for the doctor - because yeah despite being a successful show going back to the 60s and early 2000s, the Doctor just being a regular Time Lord wasn't 'girlboss' enough - so no we have to deal with this hidden past shit and apparently actually being the bad guy in the past AND being the magical chosen one that started the whole Time Lord race.

Not at all surprised with how far this show has fallen. Just going to look forward to Next Autumn for the turn over.

Siiigh, I've said this here before, but I really dislike the Doctor (or any character, really) being Super Special By Birth. Special By Choice is always more interesting to me.
