What fandom is this?

(Anonymous) 2021-12-25 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
The Dumb Husky and His White Cat Shizun, often nicknamed 2ha.

(It's certainly over-the-top in a lot of places, as OP states, but I had fun with it.)

(DA I mean, the over-the-topness is an integral part of the genre. They're all like that.)

Hey OP, where did you read it. I've been having a hard time finding a decent translation of the last half of the novel.

not sure how much of the novel this is but this is what my friend who is trying to get me to read it gave me:

I think parody is the wrong word but the whole novel is definitely pretty tongue-in-cheek about a lot of its own melodrama and doesn't take itself seriously. It's pretty obvious, really. Not saying you have to like it but the OTT drama is very much intentionally OTT while still, imo, having some interesting character development along the way.

That scene you mention though... I mean (SPOILERS)
CWN isn't exactly fully human so I wouldn't expect him to act entirely human. It's kinda a theme throughout the whole story that his reactions to things aren't particularly rational most of the time.
