transcript: I admit, I tend to have mediocre taste sometimes. I used to be very ashamed of it so rarely enjoyed what I really wanted to enjoy in fandom if I for some reason believed I was going to be *shunned for it. Certain tropes, canons, ships...

The older I grew the less I came to care and realized it was very silly of me, so nowadays I'm pretty open about what I like. I do have been somewhat "shunned", but also found a lot of people who like what I like, so it was totally worth it.

(*I was a little needlessly paranoid too, to be fair.)

Tomorrow my sister is coming down to open presents and eat breakfast. Hopefully after that the weekend will be pretty relaxed. It is going to be a disgustingly 70+ degrees out so not really in the Christmas mood.

Okay, so there is a controversy (I'm not online for this show/fandom). When I had watched it over quarantine, there were definitely parts where I was just... eugh. Like...this wasn't necessary, why is this in here? Just...why? And at least one of those scenes was (I guessed) supposed to be played for laughs? :(

I heard there's going to be a season 2, but I haven't read about the controversy and after seeing what I saw I don't think I'm going to be watching it :/.

Finding people who enjoy the same things you do is always a blast! I felt similarly to you, and it's only now that I'm finding there's a community of other people definitely into the same ships/tropes I'm into as well across different fandoms.

I'm sick, so I'm gonna be holed up in my room and watching Christmas specials. On the plus side, it's cold and rainy, which is as close to Christmas weather as it gets here.
