The bias confirmation is making me think more critically on whose content I'm watching and why some creators' works are better received by me than others. It makes sense as to why I tend to like creators who use art they enjoy as a point of reference for a topic they want to discuss rather than poke at a fandom that is part of some zeitgeist and be condescending with their "Not For Me and Here's Why You Should Feel Bad For Liking It" take.
