I would love some more bi heroes, hopefully ones that don't up in a pseudo-heterosexual relationship by the movie's end too, and with Disney/Sony having woken up to the fact they absolutely do not need to kowtow to China to make all the money on their movies we might just get them.

They're currently busy kowtowing to homophobic middle-america, so that dream is still a long way off.

We moved a little closer and middle america is not quite as homophobic as we think anymore, just the loud assholes are the ones pouring cash into corrupt legislator's pockets to make it seem like they are the majority.

It's not just China they worry about. The Eternals was not shown in many Muslim countries because there was a homosexual character.

In large part, it is. Disney knows that in order to make a profit, they have to appeal to as wide an international audience as possible, and that is not going to happen if they include certain kinds of content. Much of the world is still deeply homophobic, to the point where just being gay is illegal in many countries.
