LMAO, I'm bi and I don't entirely get it. I just let people do what they do, though if someone says something about the differences between them that I disagree with as a bi person I'll sometimes chime in. The distinction is meaningful for plenty of people, but when it comes to media... well, quite frankly, the writers/creators aren't always as plugged into the LGBT community as they think they are, especially the non-LGBT creators, and so I tend to do a big shrug if there are multiple seemingly contradictory statements. The character isn't gay/straight/ace is about all I'll get out of it.

It gets even more complicated with characters where they're from a time or place where the idea of sexuality would inevitably be pretty different. Honestly, I'm 90% sure this is about Loki or Captain Jack from DW.

It's about What We Do in the Shadows (the TV show).

AYRT Ah, haven't gotten around to watching that yet, though it seems like I would really like it tbh.

Yup. I'm bi too. For me that means that I have distinct types for men and for women that are different. But that's just how I label myself. I don't care what other people label themselves, and people who obsess about their being supposedly strict labels are ridiulous.
