I haaaaated the "Odo is pining" part but I liked the relationship once they were together - Kira kept on being a badass and Odo was impressed and supportive. And then he decided he wanted to go back to his home planet, his people need him (no, really) but honestly that was better than the end of Kira's last few relationships.
