Yeah, it sucks. I'm sad and disappointed, but at the same time, I weirdly feel better than it happened tonight and not tomorrow? Kind of like a, better to end a shit year with something awful than to doom a new year with something awful? (Well, I'm being optimistic about 2022 in that sense, heh)

I get that, yeah. That makes sense.

Shame she wasn't able to make it to 100, but 99 is a damn good run and she left one hell of a legacy. I'm also glad she got to go out knowing how beloved and admired she was by so many people. If we all must go, I can't think of a better way to do so.
