Eh, the 100 years thing is an outlier as one was in stasis and the other was magically suspended in time (physically at least) - 100 year old Hylians are essentially like 100 year old humans - but yes, this is pretty much a non-issue especially as it's all fictional characters.

Urbosa is closer to Zelda's mom's age, so thirties compared to a teenager, but that's about the only thing I can think of that might make it squicky.

Yeah, the biggest reason that this ship is squicky to people is that it's shown in some text and dialogue (mostly in the DLC) that Zelda's mother and Urbosa were relatively close friends, and Urbosa knew Zelda when she was young because of that. A lot of people only see Urbosa as a motherly or big sister figure for Zelda because of this, with both her closeness to Zelda's mother, and the fact that Zelda lost her mother at a young age.

And I can totally understand why people would be squicked by the idea of shipping them! But it just makes me sad that most mentions of "Zelbosa" on Twitter and Tumblr I've found are mostly people complaining about it.
