I've recently gotten into dating Sims and I haven't outright encountered this -- it's more like...(I mean yes, IRL if someone is pressuring you no bueno) but it's been one or two characters who just...seemed way too enthusiastic and the MC didn't really even get a choice. I guess I'm thinking of more outright violence rather than the subtle and insidious kind.

Which sims are you thinking about? I'm just going through them like water lol

Most BL dating sims, for one.

Even if you haven’t played any BL sims though, it’s honestly surprising that you haven’t run into this if you’ve been going through dating sims like water. There is a good amount of wholesome ones, made for a more general audience, that obviously don’t have any sexual assault. But the majority of pornographic/eroge sims of all kinds have at least one rapist love interest. So I’m just going to guess you’re not playing any of those.

TBF, the dev’s first game was an NSFW Neverwinter Nights mod. She admitted she went farther than she would have liked because she was trying to fit in with the other folks who made “edgy” mods.
