In watched Dredd and love it even though I don't like superhero movies. (Not sure if it qualifies as a superhero movie tbqh, but anyway - I loved it.)

Dredd is totally its own thing. I like it a lot, but it is pretty different from other superhero movies. Kind of like Game of Thrones attracted both people who enjoy fantasy in general and non-fantasy watchers who nevertheless enjoyed it.

That's good to know - means I don't have to worry about trying out the rest of the genre! I watched Thor and the second one and it wasn't my cuppa but Dredd is pretty groovy.
