SAME, but i simply adore Call the Midwife. I think it's because it's not 100% glorifying babies/motherhood, but also looking at, discussing, and acknowledging the bad, hard, scary, and/or damaging aspects of 'motherhood', too.

I like the earlier seasons a little better (except for the Jenny Lee romance business, omg, so boring), but over all, the characters are so engaging, interesting, and fun....

Sister Monica Joan, FTW!! And Trixie, obvs. :D

Nurse Crane is pretty cool too. My fave characters are all tough old birds with hearts of gold.

Yes she is. And I tend to gravitate towards that archetype too (Dr. Charles, you are the only reason I still watch Chicago Med).
