I tend to like stories where both characters are inexperienced, but it has to be written a certain way for me to enjoy it. Like both characters are a little awkward, but it’s clear that they’re having fun (bonus points if they’re trying to make each other laugh). It’s not fun if they’re not communicating and if they can’t even look at each other the next day because they’re both still embarrassed.
