I appreciated that the BBC ShakespeaRe-Told version just changes the end. Hero tells Claudio that it's lovely that he's sorry, but it's not enough. She rejects him and leaves to find a new job.

I didn't realize until I watched it how badly I needed to see a version like that. Pretty cathartic.
