I totally get it. Like, there's a difference between making a self-insert OC to write content with your fave or something and this which is borderline delusional. These are the people that get mad at you for hurting their baby if you write about them getting hurt or doing something they see as bad lol

Yeah, this. It's one thing if the person is doing it jokingly - I've seen plenty of posts of people doing that kind of thing in a clearly tongue-in-cheek way, like people will post "time to celebrate [Character]'s birthday" posts with a picture of a plush or a figure of that character next to a piece of cake and it's clear it's all just meant to be in fun. But if they're actually taking it seriously, then yeah, that's getting into delusional territory and they need to be seeking mental help.
