Why do you think that?

Because once they start on something, they don't stop until something extreme happens (see the Steven Universe incident) no matter how many times they're told to stop.

That’s not just them, though, that kind of nastiness exists on all “sides” of these issues. And the Steven Universe is example was more of an anti thing. Antis are a separate entity from SJWs, even though there is some overlap with the type of people SJW was originally coined to describe(and I can think of several examples of nasty people called who were called SJWs at the time that would be more an example of antis instead these days). Antis pretty much just co-opt social justice topics, and use buzzwords as shields to pretend there’s a reason why they’re relentlessly bullying people. Some antis really do believe they’re somehow doing anything good and useful, but just as much only use progressive ideology as an excuse.

SJW as a term now mostly feels to me like a term that anti-SJW use to refer to anyone who cares at all about social issues they don’t, or aren’t mad like they are about diversity in media(not saying you’re one of those people, just stating my thoughts on the term). Woke still means the same thing though, I’m pretty sure. Either way, if you think me bringing up anti vs SJW as which term to call them is a quibble, then it honestly might be.

I do get where you’re coming from, but the toxicity really just doesn’t feel like SJWs or wokeness has the monopoly on it. Antis though, they are some of the worst people. I do believe their harassment campaigns are some of the worst I’ve ever seen, and people getting physically hurt from them is not out of the realm of possibility, unfortunately. Again though, I might just be being too pedantic about these terms, and I’m not trying to fight about it.
